The ad on the internet that suggested it.

the Wackersberger golf course was for sale, did not come from the owner.

He reports that the expansion to an 18-hole course is progressing.

Wackersberg - It was run as a "secret sale": "Top golf course in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps with good returns," says an online ad that could be read on Ebay classifieds.

The offer is based on the information provided by the owner, "but without guarantee for the correctness and completeness".

All indications indicate that the golf course of the Tölzer Golf Club in Wackersberg is meant.

An expandable 20-hole golf course with clubhouse and gastronomy is offered.

And this is where you get suspicious: The golf course in Strass is a 9-hole course with 18 game variants.

Golf course operator: "The advertisement does not come from us"

When asked, golf course operator Tassilo Perras, who has already heard about the ad, announces: “The ad did not come from us.

The golf course was not sold and will not be sold.” In fact, one step further is to convert the golf course into an 18-hole course.

"The species protection report has been completed and has shown that no endangered species would be affected by the conversion." So this hurdle has been cleared.

An appointment with the Lower Nature Conservation Authority also went well.

"Of course we have to comply with the legal requirements for compensation areas and so on, but we think we can do that." The plan at the moment is to create a comprehensive environmental report and to get the development plan for the conversion of the golf course underway again in the course of the year.

Things are going well at the Tölzer Golf Club, so there's no reason to sell the course.

In the meantime, the ad in the classifieds is no longer available.

The “Strasserhof” was also located on the grounds of the golf course, which, as reported, was demolished in April last year.

Finally, the area on which the former inn stood was leveled.

Almost nothing reminds of the earlier building.

As is well known, Perras had acquired the area from Johannes Tien.

As reported, apartments are to be built there with a wellness area.

"So far nothing has changed in the plans and the concept," says Perras.

It's your turn.
