The General Secretariat of Hama Governorate, in cooperation with the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs, honored today a number of families of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army during an honoring ceremony held at the Jawharat Masyaf tourist resort.
The Governor of Hama, Engineer Muhammad Tariq Krishati, explained in a speech during the honoring that the governorate in its various departments and administrative and service institutions is keen to provide everything necessary to the families of the martyrs and to meet their demands, considering that honoring the families of the martyrs is the least duty towards those who gave the dear and precious for the sake of the country’s pride and dignity.
In turn, Major General Bassam Berri, Director of the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs Affairs, said: This honor is to uphold the values of loyalty to the sacrifices of those who gave their lives and blood in defense of Syria and the unity of its land and people, adding: Communication with the families of the martyrs is a great honor, and the martyrs will remain firm in the conscience, and honoring them today is the least duty towards their families. And a token of loyalty to their sacrifices for the sake of the homeland.
Hassan Ibrahim Al-Shamali, father of the martyr Ibrahim Al-Shamali, expressed in a speech on behalf of the families of the martyrs their pride and pride in the martyrdom of their sons, stressing that the fragrant memory of the martyrs will remain a beacon for future generations in sacrifice and redemption.
The honoring ceremony, which was held on the sidelines of an art exhibition for the sons of the martyrs, included artistic, musical and theatrical performances performed by school theater children and people with disabilities, in addition to distributing food baskets and financial aid to the families of the martyrs.
The honoring was attended by the Secretary of the Hama branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Engineer Ashraf Bashouri, a number of members of the People's Assembly, army officers, and religious and civil activists.
