Ana is the only one accused of the crime and remains in custody, but in a hospital.
The main suspect of having stabbed another 31-year-old woman to death in the chest and stomach five times at her home, at number 6 Calle Alfonso VI, in the heart of the La Latina neighborhood in Madrid, is admitted since this Friday at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation, according to police sources who have not been able to clarify the medical reasons, nor his state of health.
The presumed murderer had called, a few minutes before the police arrived at the scene of the crime, to a friend: "Come, I think I've killed her."
Instead of going, this friend wasted no time calling the ER to warn that Ana could have hurt the other woman.
Before the paramedics showed up, several plainclothes officers burst into the building.
"The police have been heard shouting: 'Bring down the door,' explained Raúl Fernández, one of the customers of the Camotí restaurant, on the ground floor of the building, who had just arrived at the establishment at the time, about the five in the afternoon.
Shortly after, the presumed murderer appeared on the street, walking down the street, and the agents recognized her.
They handcuffed her and took her to the floor.
"She was calm, like gone," added the witness.

On the floor, officers found a 31-year-old woman who had lost a lot of blood.
The victim had five stab wounds to the chest and stomach and, despite the fact that two Summa ambulances showed up at the scene, it was too late for the woman.
The investigators took samples in the house, but apparently the alleged murderer had used a kitchen knife to attack.
The two women, according to a spokesman for the Superior Headquarters of Madrid, had a record, although he did not clarify for what crime.
An hour and a half after the arrival of the police, the alleged murderer left the place handcuffed and guarded by the agents and was transferred in the police car.
Now it has been known that she was taken to the hospital.

"Every day there are riots in that house," commented one of the neighbors on Friday, leaning out the window as the police arrived at the scene of the crime, a flat from which the LGTBI flag hung on the balcony.
Bartenders at a nearby bar also said they knew the women and had been in a few fights or arguments in the past.
Another resident in the area assured that he had seen them that same morning early in the morning leaving a bar walking the dog.
“They were quite well known in the neighborhood, they were always very well dressed and they were always arguing, it was normal to see them in bars.
Sometimes they could be heard from the balcony,” another neighbor commented.
"They had fights, but nobody expected this to happen," they commented at the bar.
