Ivana Trump, the first wife of former President Donald Trump, died at the age of 73 after an accident involving "blunt force injuries" to the torso, the New York City medical examiner said Friday.
The medical examiner's office determined that it was an accident.

A senior New York City official with direct knowledge of the matter explained that the circumstances of his death were consistent with a fall down the stairs.
The New York City Fire Department confirmed that it went to the home of Ivana Trump on Thursday, following the report that a person had suffered a cardiac arrest.
She was found dead when they arrived.

Following the death of his ex-wife, the New York Attorney General's office postponed the summons to testify of Donald Trump and two of the children he had with Ivana Trump, in the New York tax fraud investigation against the Trump Organization.
