Markus Söder criticizes the federal government for its energy policy.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister proposes a 365-euro annual ticket.

Munich – The Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder has accused the traffic light government of wanting to “re-educate” the citizens of Germany.

In an interview with

Bild am Sonntag

, Söder spoke about the government's crisis management in Berlin and relief for citizens.

The "social turning point" of the traffic light is directed against the "majority of ordinary people".

Markus Söder: Tax cuts would be “urgently needed”

With regard to the high inflation, especially in energy prices, Söder spoke out in favor of “massive tax cuts”, especially with regard to electricity, petrol, heating and all foodstuffs.

Furthermore, the CSU politician spoke to the

Bild am Sonntag

in favor of maintaining the tank discount in winter and for a "winter housing benefit".

This would “help people noticeably”.

In addition, Söder spoke out in favor of a "365-euro annual ticket" for local public transport throughout Germany.

This should then replace the current 9-euro ticket.

The prime minister called on the traffic light government in Berlin to create fewer jobs for the government and instead to relieve the burden on the citizens.

Markus Söder: The federal government has “no well thought-out plan” to replace Russian gas

Söder criticized the federal government: "Unfortunately, there is no well thought-out plan by the federal government to replace Russian gas." In contrast to Germany, other countries have already concluded contracts with Qatar that secure the gas supply.

According to Söder, the answer from Berlin was a “bidding competition” of suggestions on how people should limit themselves.

You have to save energy.

However, suggestions such as short and cold showers would not help.

Markus Söder: Traffic light government operates "Bayern-Bashing"

The CSU boss stated: “This year, Bavaria is paying a new record amount in the state financial equalization: nine billion euros!

We have now received 3.4 billion euros since the beginning and have now paid over 100 billion euros.” In return, no “special role” is expected.

Nevertheless, 13 million people in Bavaria would not deserve "disadvantage".

Söder called the traffic light government a "North German construct" and as a result you can feel "Bayern bashing".

Bavaria has a higher performance than the Czech Republic, Greece and Portugal together.

In an interview with

Bild am Sonntag

, the Bavarian Prime Minister came to the conclusion: "If the blood vessels in the south are blocked, Germany will have cardiac arrest.

Because the economic and technological substance will be in the south for a long time."
