The command of the forces of the Donetsk People's Republic announced today that the allied forces of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics managed to liberate 253 residential centers in Donbass from the Ukrainian forces.
"By today, the Allied Donetsk and Luhansk forces, with the fire support of the Russian army, managed to liberate 253 residential centers in the Donbass, including Novaya Kamenka and Stryabovka," RIA Novosti news agency quoted a statement from the command.
The statement pointed out that these forces were able to liberate Volnovkha, which is the center of a very strategic region in the south of Donetsk, as well as liberate the city of Mariupol, one of the largest cities on the shore of the Sea of Azov, as well as Svyatogorsk.
The allied forces had taken control of the entire territory of the Lugansk Republic at the beginning of this month after liberating Lyschansk and the surrounding towns from the forces of the Kyiv regime.
