A 57-year-old man was stabbed to death tonight (Monday) during a brawl on David Yellin Street in Netanya.

MDA staff who were called to the scene provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Laniado Hospital in the city while he was unconscious, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. Police arrested the stabbing suspect - his partner's son.



MDA paramedics Shmuel and MDA paramedic Eliyahu Rosenberg said: "The wounded man, a 57-year-old man, was unconscious and suffered stab wounds to his body.

We gave him medical treatment that included stopping bleeding, bandages and giving medication.

"When we



received the report of the stabbing in the city, the police opened an investigation, and arrested the suspect, a Netanya resident on suspicion of involvement in a brawl in the city. In addition, the police worked to collect findings at the scene and examine the background and circumstances of the case. For the purposes of the investigation, the suspect will be brought to court tomorrow for a request to extend his detention.
