The US Bloomberg Agency revealed that the debts of energy companies and companies that provide heating services in Europe reached the level of 1.7 trillion euros due to increased spending in light of the rise in oil and gas prices.

The agency indicated that the total amount of borrowing is today at least 50 percent more than it was before the start of the Corona pandemic in 2020, noting that in the fourth quarter of 2019, the volume of debts of these companies amounted to about 1.1 trillion euros, and during the first six months of this year, companies collected 45 One billion euros in bonds and 72 billion in loans.

Earlier today, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto called on the European Union to look for ways to achieve a peaceful settlement in Ukraine rather than formulating new sanctions against Russia.

The Russian Foreign Ministry had confirmed, through the director of its Economic Cooperation Department, Dmitry Perechevsky, that the steps that Moscow will take in response to Western sanctions against it may be very painful,” noting that Western countries are exhausting their economies and citizens with these hostile steps.
