At the weekend there were traffic accidents in several places in the Dachau district.

An elderly gentleman saw a car in Schwabhausen, and there was a chase in Odelzhausen.

Schwabhausen/Odelzhausen/Dachau – On Friday around 2:25 p.m., a 35-year-old woman from Altomünster was driving her Opel on Münchner Strasse in Schwabhausen in the direction of Oberroth.

At the same time, without paying attention to the traffic, an 82-year-old from Schwabhausen crossed the Münchner Straße with his e-bike coming from Ahornstraße and collided with the Opel, which had the right of way.

The two-wheeler had to be taken to the Dachau Clinic with serious injuries, the driver escaped unharmed.

Chase in Odelzhausen

In Odelzhausen on Saturday evening around 8 p.m., a 28-year-old from Luxembourg was driving his Mercedes on the DAH 6 district road from Odelzhausen in the direction of Roßbach when a Peugeot came towards him in the middle of the road.

Both vehicles touched, but the Peugeot driver just drove on.

The Luxembourger then turned his car and took up the chase.

In Odelzhausen, the 28-year-old was actually able to get the Peugeot driver to stop by honking his horn.

A little later, the called patrol from the Dachau Police Inspectorate determined that the person who caused the accident was clearly under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level of over 2.5.

The 31-year-old from Hungary had to undergo a blood test and his driver's license was secured.

No one was injured in the accident, and there was property damage of around 1,500 euros.

The 31-year-old is being investigated, among other things, on suspicion of endangering road traffic.

Accident with the e-scooter in Dachau

Two people on the e-scooter – that went horribly wrong in Dachau: at around 9:45 p.m. last Saturday, a 14-year-old from Dachau drove down Karlsberg in Dachau’s old town on a rental scooter.

Behind the driver on the small electric vehicle was another 14-year-old from Dachau.

In a left turn, the driver lost control, drove straight through a bush and both people fell off the e-scooter.

The slightly injured were taken to the Third Order Hospital in Munich for treatment.
