The Hong Kong Productivity Council and the OGCIO co-organized a project sharing day on Friday (15th). The HKPC's "Innovation Space" invited STEM service providers to participate in the exhibition to help schools understand the latest innovation and technology extra-curricular activities.


The sharing day invited more than 20 service providers to provide innovation and technology education activities, covering different fields such as robotics, artificial intelligence, metaverse, etc., attracting nearly 100 schools to participate.

Fung Ka-po, General Manager of the New Generation Enterprise and Skills Development Department of the HKPC, said that the HKPC's "Innovation Space" has been promoting innovation and technology education, so it is hoped that through this event, the academic community will be able to understand the latest development of innovation and technology education, and at the same time match suitable solutions and connect with them service provider.

The 9-month "vHK Metropolis Tour" AR Creation Competition is an event held by the HKPC to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It encourages secondary school students in Hong Kong to develop their creativity and combine AR technology with Hong Kong's landmark buildings to present an ideal green and smart city and will provide AR workshops for participating students.

Feng Jiabao said that an AR pavilion will be set up later to allow the public to experience student works. At the same time, AR mobile classrooms will be arranged from February to March next year to hold AR workshops for students in different schools.
