110 meters long: The slide is standing - a milestone at the new Penzberg family pool

The new slide at the Penzberger Bad is 110 meters long and starts at a height of eleven meters - you can slide with and without tires.

With the completion of the slide, Stadtwerke Penzberg has reached another milestone in the construction of the new family pool "Piorama".
"Until next year, however, visitors young and old will have to be patient," says a statement from the municipal utility.
Penzberg: The numbers sound promising: 110 meters in length, a start at a height of eleven meters and a gradient of 11.9 percent.
"Great fun is programmed, because the slide in the Piorama is not a normal slide.
Rather, visitors can expect a tire slide, where friends and family can plunge into a maximum sliding experience either in one tire or in a row in two tires,” said those responsible for the municipal utility on Tuesday.
Of course, normal sliding without tires is also possible.
Blue on the outside, colorful on the inside: "Translucent stripes and portholes" are intended to create an exciting play of light.

From the outside, the new slide is completely blue, but inside there is a real play of colors.
"Translucent strips and portholes over a length of 70 meters also ensure an exciting play of light in the sun and underline the family character of the slide," says the municipal utility.
Up to 360 people per hour can use the tire slide.
With an integrated time measurement, visitors can measure who is the fastest on the slide.
Prefabrication of the three saunas has started
In the meantime, work continues on the interior design of the new family bathroom.
"The Penzberg public utility company is doing everything it can to complete the family pool as quickly as possible," says André Behre, Penzberg public utility board member.
The work on the plumbing, heating and ventilation as well as the pool water system is currently in full swing, the ceiling construction is being assembled and the screed is being laid.
The sauna area is also progressing - the prefabrication of the three saunas in the factory has already begun.
