The Central Specialized Citizen Service Center, which was launched last April in the General Directorate of Real Estate Interests in Damascus, provides various real estate services that have reached 68,775 services since the beginning of this year.

The services range from automated real estate registration for the governorates of Damascus and its countryside, electronic messaging to all governorates, an area statement for automated properties in Damascus and its countryside, and proof or denial of ownership, up to a statement of real estate registration signed in preparation for approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants.

In a statement to SANA’s reporter, Tamim Al-Qassem, the head of the center, explained that the center was completed during a record period with local efforts and expertise, and was able to provide its services to citizens easily and easily. What he wants with the least time and effort.

According to Al-Qasim, the value of fees collected in the center from the beginning of the year to date amounted to 150,611 million Syrian pounds, while the number of real estate transactions submitted to citizens reached 68,775, including 61,100 automated real estate registrations and electronic correspondence, 1,950 statements of proof or denial of ownership, 5060 statements of area, and 655 statements of real estate registration signed in preparation for approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Al-Qasim indicated that the center’s management is in the process of expanding the services provided in the center according to the automated areas in the Damascus and its countryside directorates, which will be announced once its automation is completed. In addition, work is underway towards digital transformation with the aim of eliminating paper financial notices whose values ​​are paid in the existing industrial bank offices. In the center in order to speed up the implementation of the service and bypass the error.

The center includes 18 windows, two offices for the alphabetical index and survey data, 3 delivery offices, an information office, another for communications, an office for post-control, an office for technical and technical support, an office for financial compliance, 5 offices for the industrial bank, in addition to the role body.
