Sources in the Labor Party contacted News reporter 12 Michal Activan and offered her to run in the Labor Party's primaries - Israel Today has learned.
Sources involved in the details confirmed the appeal, but argued that on the part of the activist such a confrontation was irrelevant.
A few days ago, a survey was distributed to Labor Party functionaries about possible candidates for the primaries, which included a number of media people including: Michal Activan, news presenter Tamar Ish Shalom, Walla political correspondent Barak Ravid, and US News reporter Yona Leibzon.

It will be recalled that last night, Merav Michaeli swept the Labor Party leadership in the primaries for the second time in a row by a significant margin of more than 80 percent of the candidate against it, Eran Hermoni.
All the list members in the Knesset expressed overwhelming support for Michaeli and even signed it in a letter.
Michaeli herself is overall satisfied with the current list, but would also like to see new and refreshing names.
Michal Activan declined to comment
Michaeli's response will be brought when it is received.
