The two, whose affair in which they were involved "exploded" in August 2020, were convicted of multiple offenses of assaulting a minor causing actual bodily harm, after harsh records of beatings, starvation, slaps, kicks, defeats, covering toddlers with blankets over their heads and pulling on their arms were revealed.
According to the indictments according to which they were convicted, as of 2018, a Holon resident ran a private kindergarten intended for children aged 6 months to 3.5 years.
On many occasions during their work in the kindergarten, on a daily basis, the defendants illegally assaulted toddlers while in charge of them, sometimes causing them pain.
Among other things, they gripped them tightly, pulled them with their hands and feet and dragged them, lifted the toddlers and slammed them tightly on mattresses or chairs, slapped the toddlers and even kicked them.
At times, they "punished" a toddler who interfered by sitting him for various periods of time, some lengthy, in an elevated baby chair and more.

During the period, the kindergarten principal was present at the kindergarten for a few hours, and although she knew of the existence of violence against the toddlers, she violated her duty to take care of their safety and health and to prevent their abuse.
