There is a suspicion of attempted manslaughter.

A 38-year-old injured a 54-year-old with an ax.
The Kripo Garmisch-Partenkirchen has taken over the investigation.
She is now looking for a witness.
The suspect is now in custody.
A violent physical altercation in the Adalbert-Stifter-Strasse area was reported to the police early Monday evening.
Officers from the Murnau Police Inspectorate met a 54-year-old from Peiting with minor cuts on site.
The rescue service, which has meanwhile also arrived at the scene of the crime, took the injured man to a hospital after medical first aid.
A heavily intoxicated 38-year-old Russian from the southern district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen was identified as a suspect immediately on site.
The man was temporarily arrested.
Injured in the neck
The two men had gotten into an argument in the front yard of a property.
According to the police, there was already a physical altercation there, in which the 54-year-old was injured with an ax in the neck area.
The 54-year-old then left the property and continued towards a nearby dirt road.
The 38-year-old followed him and the 38-year-old attacked him again with a knife in the area of the dirt road.
However, the 54-year-old was able to fend it off.
The Murnau Police Inspectorate and the Weilheim Criminal Investigation Service began their initial investigations on site.
Specialist department 1 of the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Criminal Police Office took over the case to clarify the exact course of events.
The Munich II public prosecutor filed an application for arrest against the 38-year-old suspect for attempted manslaughter.
The responsible investigating judge issued an arrest warrant against the suspect on Tuesday.
The alleged perpetrator was then taken to a correctional facility.

At the time of the argument, there was a male person in the area of the dirt road who must have observed the incident and also spoke to the 54-year-old injured man.
