At around 7.34 a.m. this Wednesday morning, a 52-year-old man was driving his Renault Clio on the A96 in the direction of Munich (coming from the Süd-West autobahn triangle) between the Freiham and Gräfelfing junctions.
He was driving in the second lane from the right in the four-lane area - until a previously unknown driver with an unknown car hit the Clio driver.
As a result of the collision, the Renault driver lost control of his car and ended up in the middle lane.
There, the Renault collided with a trailer truck that was being driven by a 42-year-old woman.
As a result of the collision, the Renault overturned and then came to a stop in the left lane.
The 52-year-old Renault driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.
He sustained minor injuries.
The Renault was totaled.
The car was towed.
The truck driver was not injured, there was damage to the front of her semi-trailer truck, and the semi-trailer truck was still ready to drive after the collision.
So far, there is no information on the person who caused the accident or on the car used.
