Johnson announces resignation (Photo: Reuters)
Earlier this month, Johnson announced his resignation, after more than 50 ministers and MPs announced their resignation from his government.
The ministers avenged the "rebellion" by saying that "they can no longer work for a government that is stained with several scandals."
This, after another internal uprising took place earlier, in June, and included a vote of partisan internal distrust.
Now, after Johnson's resignation, former Finance Minister Rishi Sonak, Defense Minister Liz Tras and former junior minister Penny Mordont are competing for the presidency.
Today, UK MPs will vote for the last time in a round of voting and determine which of the three, they are the two candidates for the presidency of the Conservative Party, and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
