On Tuesday evening, July 19, 2022, a previously unknown man apparently saved the life of a three-year-old child.

Noticing the motionless child in the water, he pulled him out and handed the child over to the lifeguard, reports 24RHEIN.

A few moments later the child woke up again.

The child was then taken to a hospital for further treatment.

The Lippe police are now looking for the man who saved the child's life on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

The hero from the outdoor pool is asked to call 05231 6090.

A similar case happened in Kerken on Tuesday.

A 15-year-old boy died there after a swimming accident in Lake Eyller.

In addition, the Lippe police warn of caution: "Even today, the swimming pools are full again due to the heat and therefore confusing.

So please follow the example of the stranger and look out for each other.

If you see people who may need help, inform the bathing staff immediately," the police said in a press release.
