At a dinner in New York, Meghan wowed her fans in a stylish designer jumpsuit.
The black-and-white ensemble immediately conjured up strong memories of a glam outfit her sister-in-law Kate Middleton wore to a film premiere in London this summer.
Who's better off?
NEW YORK - After dining at the Locanda Verde in Lower Manhattan, Meghan Markle, 40, and Prince Harry, 37, were photographed on their recent trip to New York City.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a black strapless jumpsuit by Gabriela Hearst, which features a striking wide fold at the strapless neckline.
With the same white highlight, Kate Middleton (40) convinced in a glamor appearance not too long ago at the Top Gun Maverick premiere alongside her husband Prince William (40) and Tom Cruise (60).

This already answers a crucial question in the style check: Kate Middleton was the first to attract everyone's attention with her floor-length gown by Roland Mouret on the red carpet in London's Leicester Square.
But who is better off?
For her ensemble, Meghan opted for subtle hoop earrings and her favorite ring from Shiffon Co., an organization that works to empower women.
With a sophisticated cut-out in the back view, Meghan came elegantly and sexy through the New York night on narrow strappy sandals from Aquazurra with a sweet clutch from Bottega Veneta.
The Duchess of Cambridge's look was also stunning.
She styled her hair loose, falling glamorously over her bare shoulders, with a pair of sparkling dainty starburst diamond earrings adding a touch of glamor for the occasion.

Compared to Kate's penchant for glittery outfits on the red carpet, the
evening dress was almost simple, but it was also an unforgettably elegant style moment.
Meghan wore her hair in a deep ponytail and draped it over her left shoulder, adding a touch of summer freshness.
The Duchess of Sussex can also take it a little easier when styling, she has turned her back on royal constraints, which she can therefore also emphasize.

Apparently, Meghan occasionally takes fashion inspiration from Kate, but she styles her outfits a little bolder and clearer than her female counterpart in the former royal cloverleaf.
Only recently, both duchesses made a wow appearance in white blazer-trousers combinations.
Kate dazzled in a white blazer and tailored pants on March 23 in Kingston, Jamaica.
On April 15, Meghan wore an all-white ensemble of wide trousers and an oversized blazer at the Invictus Games in The Hague during her pre-dressed trip.
