Damascus countryside-SANA
The Director of the Damascus Countryside Communications Branch, Eng. Hussein Al-Awaiti, revealed that until the end of this year, 42,496 ADSL gates will be allocated, distributed among 33 telephone centers and a number of optical access units in the governorate.
Oweiti explained in a special statement to SANA reporter that each of the communication centers (Al-Tal, Artouz and Babila) will be allocated with 1,536 gates, and each of the centers (Al-Hussainiya, Al-Qutayfah, Al-Nabek, Jdeidet Artouz, Jaramana, Moadamiya Al-Sham, Assal Al-Ward, Al-Hama). With 1024 gates, in addition to allocating the two centers of Qudsaya and Sayeda Zeinab with 2048 gates, and each of the Sbeinah and Ashrafieh Sahnaya centers with 3072 gates.
Al-Owaiti added: “(512) gates will be allocated to each of the centers (Al-Jabba, Al-Jarajir, Al-Humaira, Al-Rawda, Khan Al-Sheih, Deir Ali, Rankous, Zakiya, Saqba, Dahiyat Al-Assad, Adra Al-Omaliyeh, etc.). Arna.. Ain al-Tineh.. Jandal Castle.. Kafr Hor.. Kanaker.. Minin.. Yabroud.”
The Director of Rural Damascus Communications indicated that the optical access units that will be allocated at the ADSL gates during this year are (Deir Muqrin 1, Deir Muqrin 2, Deir Muqrin 3, Al-Saboura 1, the military housing, Najha and Najha military, Al-Wafideen camp 1, Al-Wafideen camp 2, Al-Wafideen camp 3, Al-Wafideen camp 4 and Camp Al-Wafideen camp 4). Al-Wafideen 5, Ashrafieh Al-Wadi 1, Ashrafieh Al-Wadi 2, Ashrafieh Al-Wadi 3, and Rakabi) (Sahnaya, Maaraba 3, Maaraba 4, Hafir Al-Tahta and Hala), indicating that each access unit will be provided with 512 internet gates.
