Baden-Württemberg's Minister of the Interior Thomas Strobl (CDU) is questioned on September 23 by the state parliament's investigative committee about a lawyer's letter that was passed on.
The German press agency learned this on Wednesday from a meeting of the committee members in the state parliament.
The meeting should therefore take place in public, Strobl should be the only witness.
Heidelberg - By the end of July, the state parliament should also receive files totaling 70,000 pages.
Background are investigations against the highest-ranking police officer in the country, the inspector of police.
He's suspended from duty.
The man is said to have sexually harassed a colleague.
Strobl is indirectly under pressure because of the matter - he forwarded a letter from the inspector's lawyer to a journalist.
The public prosecutor's office is therefore also investigating against him.
The opposition demands Strobl's resignation.
