House of the Dragon

The trailer for this spin-off, which will be released on August 21 on HBO – in France on OCS – has been released.
We see King Viserys I pondering the name of who will succeed him on the Iron Throne.
Prince Daemon Targaryen seems to be destined for this task.
But her daughter, Rhaenyra Targaryen, wants to overturn the rules.
Filmed in the UK, the series is co-written by author George R. R Martin and Ryan J. Condal.
Last February, the novelist also said that he had seen and “
loved
” the first episodes.
As for the showrunner, director Miguel Spochnik, he has filmed several episodes of successful sagas like
Hardhome
or
Battle of the Bastards
in the past .

In this highly anticipated spin-off, King Viserys Targaryen will be played by Paddy Considine (

).
Her children Prince Daemon and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen will have Matt Smith (
Doctor Who, The Crown
) and Emma d'Arcy (
Wanderlust
) as interpreters.
Rhys Ifans (
Harry Potter
) will lend his features to Otto Hightower, Olivia Cook (
The Vanity Fair
) will play the role of Alicent Hightower.
