After Corona, newlyweds can finally enjoy their honeymoon.
Where should it go?
You can spend undisturbed time together in five dream locations.
Due to the pandemic, many couples have had to postpone their weddings and/or honeymoons.
But two years later, they can finally start their honeymoon.
Many are already looking forward to it and have been thinking for a long time about where they would like to fly or drive to.
Some would like to go further away because they have only made short trips due to the Corona crisis.
But where can newly married couples really relax and spend time together undisturbed?

Of course, this is best done on a beach holiday, in places that are not so overcrowded.
After all, you want to enjoy this special time in life in peace and celebrate the beautiful moment.
This is also confirmed by a recent survey by the online travel agency Expedia.
This asked 1,000 German couples about their favorite honeymoon travel destinations.
It turned out that many actually prefer classic beach destinations.
This year the top five are:
1st honeymoon in the Maldives
White sand as far as the eye can see, turquoise water and not a soul: This is how many imagine the Maldives to be a bathing paradise.
Although it is considered a honeymoon cliché, it is still the dream destination par excellence for German couples.
More than a third (34 percent) of the couples surveyed want to switch off there on the endless dream beaches and enjoy togetherness.
The so-called "overwater bungalows" typical of the Maldives are known from pictures in the many luxury resorts on the picturesque small islands that jut out into the sea.
The water villas stand on stilts in the middle of the water and thus offer direct access to the unique underwater world of the island chain.

2. Honeymoon in the Caribbean
Palm trees jutting into the water, turquoise bath tub water and a light attitude to life: many people associate this with the Caribbean.
For this reason, the region in the Atlantic Ocean is also popular with 27 percent of German couples.
They want to experience the Caribbean way of life on their honeymoon.

3. Honeymoon in Hawaii
The island of Hawaii, which is part of a chain of islands in the Pacific, is also known as the "Big Island" and is surrounded by numerous smaller islands, some of which are completely uninhabited.
In addition to Hawaii, there are the other main islands of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai and Maui.
Depending on their preferences and thirst for adventure, couples can choose the destination that suits them.
But they all have beautiful beaches and tropical flora and fauna in common.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it on Molokai, while Oahu with its capital Honolulu offers many cultural and shopping opportunities.
Active volcanoes are still simmering on the island of Hawaii.
4. Honeymoon in Mauritius
Wild and original - this is how nature on Mauritius can be described.
The island state, which like the Maldives is located in the Indian Ocean, also offers crystal clear sea water, palm-fringed beaches and lush nature.
Water sports enthusiasts in particular get their money's worth here: Thanks to the constant trade winds, windsurfing and sailing are very good here.
In addition, many snorkelers are also drawn to Mauritius because of the spectacular underwater coral landscape.
In addition, the botanical garden in Pamplemousses is one of the most popular attractions, as it is home to several giant tortoises in addition to a pond with giant water lilies.
5. Honeymoon in Bali
Although Bali is a small island, it is still diverse and there is a lot to explore.
Hindu temples, fertile rice terraces, huge volcanoes, dense jungle areas and heavenly beaches characterize the landscape.
For 16 percent of newlyweds, a romantic evening sunset over the Indian Ocean is therefore a must on their honeymoon.
In order to be able to spend time as a couple undisturbed, we recommend a villa in the north or west of Bali.
