series (1989-2001), responded to her detractors via an Instagram post: a photo of her in a pale pink bikini, on Sunday July 17.

His goal ?

Prove she's not "too old to wear a bikini," as some of her critics claimed in a previous post.

On July 4, National Day in the United States, the actress had published a video of her in a swimsuit in the colors of the American flag.

“A lot of women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in which I appeared in a bikini in the colors of America, because they thought I was 'classier than that'. “too old to wear a bikini” and my favorite comment: “desperate”, “wrote the 54-year-old top in the caption of the photo.

Before adding: "Let me tell you something that might surprise you: I can actually wear anything I want."

And the 50-year-old concludes: “With that, here I am in a bikini and squatting on a coffee table.”
