Two boys drive through Hagen in a Ford in the evening.
When a witness noticed this, he immediately alerted the police.

Another witness estimates the age of the children at 7 to 10 years.
Both witnesses lost sight of the children a little later.
Both children were dressed in a T-shirt and shorts.
The 47-year-old owner of the vehicle apparently knew nothing about the whole thing.
His vehicle was previously parked by an employee on Luisenstrasse.
On the other hand, a 13-year-old drove through Duisburg in a car, even accompanied by his father.
The key to the vehicle was suddenly no longer to be found in the usual place of storage.
How he got there is still under investigation.
In Gelsenkirchen, a child recently grabbed a car key and immediately caused an accident.
It is also not yet known where the Ford could have had an accident.
When the vehicle was found in the parking space on Frankfurter Strasse, the vehicle had fresh signs of an accident on the rear right wheel housing.
These must have occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The police is now looking for witnesses.
In a press release, the police write: "The Hagen police asks people who have found unclear, fresh accident damage to their vehicle that occurred during this period on Wednesday to call 02331 - 986 2066." Witnesses are also being sought which could provide clues as to the identity of the children.(sp)
