In a statement to reporters after yesterday's tour of the factory, Sabbagh expressed his appreciation for the great efforts and endeavors made by the technical and labor cadres in the company, with the help of the expertise and retired workers who answered the call to maintain production lines and restart the company after a 7-year hiatus, based on their belief in their homeland and their work, which resulted in About operating all production lines in the company, starting with receiving the sugar beet crop and ending with its manufacture, pointing out that the sugar beet industry is one of the important strategic industries that the government seeks to develop in all fields.

Sabbagh explained that the return to operation of the Tal Salhab Sugar Company confirms that Syria is able to rehabilitate and restore what terrorism destroyed in various industrial facilities, pointing to the ministry's keenness in coordination and cooperation with the concerned and other administrative authorities to overcome all obstacles to the cultivation and manufacture of sugar beet during the current and upcoming seasons. .

Director of the General Organization for Sugar Saad Al-Din Al-Ali explained that since the approval of the return of sugar beet cultivation during a coordination meeting between the stakeholders in the Ministries of Industry and Agriculture, an executive program was launched to secure production requirements for farmers, especially the seeds that were imported from one of the European countries with the approval of a new pricing to receive the crop some time ago About 10 months of cultivation at a rate of 175 thousand Syrian pounds per ton after it was in the past 25 thousand pounds per ton, indicating that as a result of the high production costs, the price of beet was raised again to 250 thousand pounds per ton with a reward of 10 thousand pounds for the product for each ton He delivers it to the company if it is clean and the crime rate is low.

Ibrahim Nasra, Director of the General Organization for Food Industries and Director of Sugar Tal Salhab Company, noted the great efforts and achievements made by the technical and labor teams in launching the production process in the company after a 7-year hiatus, especially the workers who retired from the factory several years ago and responded to the call of duty voluntarily and continued the night with Al-Nahar until the company returns to its previous era, describing the first sugar production operations as happy moments that the company's workers and farmers will not forget.
