Opinion | Europe is hot on us Israel today

The European Union and Western European countries are the main source of oxygen for many Palestinian organizations. Every year, about 35 million euros are transferred to a small and permanent group of selected organizations

The Europeans' double play against Israel continues.

Nine European governments last week issued a statement regarding six Palestinian organizations that Israel declared in 2021 as terrorist organizations.

In their statement, they claimed that "no material information has been received from Israel" about the organizations' involvement in terrorism, and will therefore continue to "cooperate, and support Palestinian civil society organizations."

According to Israel, this is a network of organizations that operate under the guise of human rights organizations and are an arm of the terrorist organization "The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine."

Senior members of these organizations were involved in the murder of Rene Schnerv and in raising funds for the terrorist organization.

The Foreign Ministries of Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain have made it clear that there is no impediment to them continuing to fund these organizations.

Without getting into the "golden vision" question they require, European governments should have stopped funding organizations long before the 2021 declaration.

There is dozens of overt evidence of the organizations 'and their employees' ties with the Popular Front, on the basis of which only sound-minded governments would stop to examine what was being done with the money.

For example, Popular Front conferences attended by senior members of organizations;

Managers who are also members of the terrorist organization - some of them sat in the Israeli prison, and more.

In addition, following the assassination of the Dutch government, it published an independent report pointing to links between one of the winning organizations and the Popular Front. Pushing the apartheid lie, working against Israel in the Hague tribunal, accusing the IDF of war crimes and portraying it as killing and abusing Palestinian children.

Three of the organizations recently submitted a document to the UN Commission of Inquiry examining Operation The Wall Guard. The Palestinian, "and that it must repeal the laws of return, citizenship and nationality, adding that in fact the State of Israel has no right to exist.

The European Union and Western European countries have been the main conduit for many Palestinian organizations for the past 20 years.

Every year, about 35 million euros are transferred to a fairly small and permanent group of selected organizations, including those that have been declared terrorist organizations.

The blood libels against the Jews in the Middle Ages were replaced by the reports and campaigns of the organizations.

European governments are playing a double game - on the one hand their senior officials are calling for cooperation with Israel, and on the other hand they continue to fund organizations that spread hatred and delegitimization against its existence, mainly as a lever to influence its policies.

The argument that Israel did not provide "material information" seems to be just an excuse for Europeans to continue to reward their subcontractors in the region.

For the link between European governments and organizations is so strong and dependent that they are unable to turn off the funding tap for those who promote de-legitimization or are linked to terrorism.
