In the video: documentation of the sinkhole that opened in a private pool in Keremi Yosef, a young man was killed (documentation on social networks according to Section 27 A of the Creators Law, Niv Aharonson and firefighting)

Khalil Kimchi, the 32-year-old came today (Thursday) to celebrate in the pool at the villa in Karmi Yosef, and apparently due to poor infrastructure, he was drawn into a sinkhole 13 meters deep and found his death.

The owners of the place were detained for questioning, and the suspicion against them is causing death by negligence.

Rescuers searched for the dead man for several hours, until his body was found, and he was pronounced dead on the spot.

The sinkhole opened during a party of a marketing company in a rental villa in the settlement.

Another man, 34 years old, was also sucked into the pit, but managed to pull himself out.

Documentation from the incident shows the water being pumped into the gaping hole, while the celebrants try to grab hold points, so as not to be sucked inside.

The video also shows the inflatables that were in the pool being swept into the pit and disappearing.

The commander of the rescue forces at the scene, sub-tefsar Reuven Shishitsky, said that "after about five hours from the beginning of the incident, we managed to locate the 32-year-old in the same tunnel that was feared to be inside".

According to him, in the first hours the rescue forces were engaged in creating concrete walls in the hole that opened, for fear of its collapse.

"The rescue operation was very complex. The young man fell three meters deep underground and then entered one of the tunnels and was ten meters away and was submerged in the mud," Shishitsky continued.

"That is why the rescue operations were very complex and took a long time, but relative to the conditions, the rescue was quick. With the tragic result, we are talking about a great miracle because at the beginning of the incident there were close to 60 people in the pool."

The lifeguard at the event, Aviv Bobalil, told about the course of events.

"There was a vortex in the pool, something that doesn't seem normal. All the water was pumped in. I immediately screamed for people to get out of the pool," said the lifeguard.

"Some thought it was a game, seconds after that the ground dropped. The initial instinct was to try to enter, but there were people who prevented me and there was no option."

According to Bobalil, it took some time for those present to realize that someone was missing.

At first they tried to call him, thinking that he had left for his home.

"Find his phone," she continued.

"I don't know anyone there, I came as a lifeguard. There were at least six people in the pool, luckily they were close to the walls."
