The Arab Union for Productive Families and Crafts and Traditional Industries, based in Damascus, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs at the ministry's headquarters in the capital, Baghdad.
According to a statement from the union, which SANA obtained a copy of, this memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation and organize the relationship and work mechanism between the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in Iraq and the Arab Union for Productive Families and to enable it to carry out its activities and tasks, provided that the two parties make all possible efforts to strengthen and consolidate the bonds of joint Arab action in Supporting everything related to the productive families sector and the handicraft and traditional industries.
The President of the Union, Muhammad Abdul Baset Al-Qadah, stressed that the importance of this memorandum lies in framing and organizing cooperation between the Union and the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to effectively support the productive families sector and the handicraft and traditional industries sector in Iraq.
The Arab Federation of Productive Families and Handicrafts and Traditional Industries of the Council of Arab Economic Unity is considered one of the most important federations emanating from the Council of Arab Economic Unity in the League of Arab States.
