In the video: documentation of the sinkhole that opened in a private pool in Keremi Yosef, a young man was killed (documentation on social networks according to Section 27 A of the Creators Law, Niv Aharonson and firefighting)
The Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva this morning (Friday) released Rachel and Nathan Meler - the suspects in the negligent death of Khalil Kimchi - to house arrest.
Kimchi, 32 years old, was yesterday pulled into a 13-meter-deep sinkhole that opened in a pool in a private villa owned by the couple in the settlement of Karmi Yosef - and was killed on the spot.
Judge Carmit Ben Eliezer released the two to house arrest until Monday.
They will stay in Kfar Saba, under the supervision of their daughter.
Also, Natan, 70 years old, and Rachel, 65 years old, are suspected of running a business without a license and building the pool without a permit.
The sinkhole opened during a party of a marketing company in a rental villa in the settlement apparently due to poor infrastructure.
In the documentation from the event, you can see the water being pumped into the hole that opened, while the revelers try to grab hold of points, so as not to be pumped in.
In the video, you also see the inflatables that were in the pool drift into the pit and disappear.
Another man, 34 years old, was also sucked into the pit, but managed to pull himself out.

The police representative at the hearing, Sergeant Major Rami Desta, said that this was a place without a permit and without authority. "A person lost his life and the suspect has a very large contribution to this tragic outcome," he noted. "They could have prevented this outcome if they had received a permit.
The suspect also has a conviction for building without a permit."
The couple's lawyer, Zion Amir, said that this is a very unusual event that has never happened before. "Unfortunately, this is such an unusual event and all the experts are talking about the fact that it is something that is unimaginable," he emphasized. He also added that these are good people, with no criminal record, who cooperated in their investigation. "They have children who are fighters and paratroopers, and they have great sorrow for this unimaginable and shocking tragedy," he said. "Each of us is shocked by this story.
All I can say in order not to harm the police's inspection process is that this house, with this pool, was built according to religion and law."
