Near noon the day before yesterday (21st), a woman surnamed Chung (43 years old) and her friends were suspected of being accidentally drowned while they were on the river cruise off Jilong Bay in Sai Kung.
After being rescued by rescuers, Ms. Chung was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital in a coma. Although her heartbeat was restored after rescue, she remained in the hospital for nearly a day and was delayed until 7:51 a.m. yesterday (22nd), and she eventually died.
On the day of the incident (21st), police officers were investigating in the hospital, and several relatives and friends arrived to find out.
