The Poinger Climate Days will take place for the first time this weekend.
On Saturday on the market square, on Sunday in the construction center.
Everything is free, there is a lot of information and more everywhere.
Poing - The point in time is random, but well chosen: This weekend (Saturday and Sunday) the first Poing climate days will take place.
On a weekend for which above-average temperatures are again predicted and in times when the climate crisis is occupying the world.
Answers to possible questions such as "How can you refurbish or build sustainably?" and "How can you make everyday life climate-friendly?" will be given tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.
Poing: Information, beer garden, music and promotions at the marketplace
The climate days are a campaign by the municipality and the building center in Poing.
The program was presented there in a press conference yesterday, Thursday.
The first part of the climate days will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at the Poinger Marktplatz.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., experts will be giving tips on photovoltaics, ecological gardens and e-mobility, among other things.
You can not only look at electric vehicles, you can also test them.
For the physical well-being of visitors, a Bergfeldbräu beer garden will be set up on the market square, the jazz band Isarthoren will play live music.

Poing: Unpackaged shop and repair café
Furthermore, the newly opened Poinger Unpacked shop will be presented and - after a long Corona break - there will be the Poinger Repair Café again.
For the first time not in the youth center, but in the open air on the market square.
Here anyone can repair broken everyday objects with the guidance and help of volunteers.
All this in a café atmosphere with coffee and cake (anyone who would like to donate a cake and bring it in at short notice is welcome to do so, according to the organizers).
A little tip: Those who are interested should stop by the marketplace in advance to see whether the right repair artist is there for the item they need repairing - if so, then bring the item from home to have it repaired together at the marketplace.
Second day in Bavaria's largest home exhibition
The second day takes place in the Bauzentrum Poing in Grub, the largest home exhibition in Bavaria.
There is an open day here on Sunday 24 July from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free entry.
Between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., tours through selected model houses are offered by independent and state-approved energy consultants – with the topics “Sustainable Building”, “Energy Efficiency” and “Future Living”.
In addition, there will be a lecture on "climate-efficient construction" in the technology pavilion in the entrance area of the construction center;

Independent of guided tours and lectures, visitors can visit around 60 model houses free of charge and obtain information directly from the manufacturers about the respective construction.
