When the Oktoberfest was put on the agenda, the CSU boss took two SPD colleagues to his chest.

“The Wiesn is not far from Sauerlach.

Will there be a normal Oktoberfest again?” BR presenter Tilmann Schöberl wanted to know from the Bavarian Prime Minister.

"What is quite normal these days," Söder began, "we have been in a non-normal loop for two years."

Without first specifically addressing the Wiesn question, Söder again campaigned for the corona vaccination and called on the federal government to offer tests completely free of charge again.

Once in motion, Söder also took on the SPD Minister of Health: "(Karl, d.Red.) Lauterbach says every day that the world is ending." He now advises everyone to remain sensible and exercise caution, said Bavarians prime minister.

"But yes, the probability of getting infected at the Wiesn is of course higher than in the BR studio," admitted Söder.

At the end, the CSU boss gave Munich's mayor the next Watschn: "I don't think he can take that.

That is the most important day for a mayor, everyone is always on TV.”
