Khalil Kimchi (32) from Tel Aviv, who was killed yesterday in the sinkhole disaster that opened in the pool of the villa in Kermi Yosef, will be laid to rest today (Friday) at 2:30 pm in the cemetery in Kfar Saba, the city where he grew up and where his parents live.
The funeral will take place after his father and older brother identified his body this morning at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir.
Many comforters arrived at the family home in Kfar Saba starting in the morning.
Brother Neve said in tears: "Everyone has already talked about him. We have nothing to say right now except that we love him forever."
Rina, a family friend, said: "Until 7:30 in the evening, the family members didn't even know he was in that pool. The parents were on their way to the supermarket. Then the police called them because they found Kalil's phone in the pool. They asked them to come home. They didn't understand what happened When they got home, the mother saw a social worker she knew, and then she realized something bad had happened."
