Mandates poll: Meretz is recovering, Netanyahu's bloc is shrinking
The Left Party passes the percentage of blocking and receives 4 seats, the Likud chairman's bloc drops from 61 to 59. Meanwhile, the right is still below the percentage of blocking, and a union with Yoaz Handel does not help it either. Yesh Atid remains stable with 24 seats, while the list of Blue and White New Hope receives fewer mandates

102 days until the elections to the 25th Knesset, and even the current survey conducted by the Panels Politics Institute under the management of Menachem Lazar, for Maariv, does not resolve the political dilemma and does not give an answer as to who will receive from President Yitzhak Herzog the mandate to form the government.
According to the poll, Netanyahu's bloc of parties drops to 59 mandates, compared to 61 in the previous poll.
After Zehava Galon's announcement that she will run for the Meretz presidency, the party passes the percentage of blocking.
Whereas the right, led by Ayelet Shaked, is unable to rise above the red line, is getting weaker and weaker, and the addition of Yoaz Handel does not save it either.

The picture of the mandates emerging from the survey shows that the Likud led by Benjamin Netanyahu wins 35 mandates, a mandate less than the previous survey.
Yesh Atid led by Yair Lapid is stable with 24 mandates.
Blue and White-New Hope led by Benny Gantz and Gideon Sa'ar is in retreat and receives 12 mandates in the current poll, compared to 13 in the previous poll, while in the current Knesset the two factions together have 14 seats.
The heads of religious Zionism, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir, are arguing with each other and are negotiating for a joint appearance in the upcoming elections, and meanwhile the list remains with a stable double digit figure - 10 mandates.
In the ultra-orthodox party sector, Shas remains with 8 mandates, but Torah Judaism's mandate drops to 6. The joint list and Israel Beitenu also have the same amount of mandates.

In the left block, the arena is boiling.
The Labor led by Merav Michaeli, which opposes the connection with Meretz, loses a mandate, dropping to 5 and thus contributing to Meretz, which passes the blocking percentage and receives 4 mandates.
The same number of mandates is received by Ra'am. Below the blocking percentage are two parties that appeal to the national religious public - Yamina and the Jewish Home. Shaked, who inherited the party from Naftali Bennett and is looking for her way, records a disappointing figure of only 1.9% support, compared to 2.6% in a previous survey. The Jewish Home receives 0.9%. Handel's alliance with Shaked improves its situation but slightly, raising its right to 2.6% and dropping the Jewish Home far behind to 0.6% support.
From a bloc perspective, Meretz's return to the mandate map drops Netanyahu's bloc to 59 Mandates. However, Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz's statements that he strives to form a broad unity government under his leadership after the elections, actually changes the classic definition of the blocs.
Now, in front of the Netanyahu-Haredim bloc stands the Yesh Atid-Avoda bloc and Meretz as a mediator between Blue and White-A New Hope and Israel Beitnu.

The survey also examined the degree of support for Netanyahu's return to the position of Prime Minister.
Here the public is divided in its positions: 44% support Netanyahu's return, compared to 43% who oppose it.
On the question of who is more suitable for the position of Prime Minister - Gantz or Lapid, the Minister of Defense leads by a small margin - 28% compared to 26% for the Prime Minister.
The survey was attended by 709 respondents who are a representative sample of the adult population in the State of Israel aged 18 and over, 610 Jews and 99 Arabs.
(A request to participate in the survey was sent to 4,398 members of the panel).
Data collection is done using the Panel4All web panel.
The survey was conducted on July 20-21, 2022. The maximum sampling error in this survey is 4.2%.
