The Russian Defense Ministry revealed today that Kyiv forces are planning to blow up radioactive and chemical waste storage facilities in Donetsk, accusing the Russian forces of doing so.
"Kyiv forces have mined radioactive and chemical waste storage facilities in Konstantinovka to detonate them upon their withdrawal, accusing the Russian forces of this," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center, Mikhail Mezintsev, as saying.
"Ukrainian extremists in Konstantinovka mined radioactive and chemical waste storage facilities at a lead production company," Mizintsev said.
He noted that the Kyiv authorities in this way are planning a new provocation at a dangerous facility to accuse the Russian army of creating alleged radioactive contamination in certain regions of Ukraine.
