Düsseldorf – In July 2022, dozens of funfair fans will be flocking to the Oberkasseler Rheinwiese in Düsseldorf again – because this year the Rheinkirmes Düsseldorf will finally be taking place there again.
Riding a roller coaster, enjoying a ride on the Ferris wheel, snacking on cotton candy or roasted almonds and drifting from stall to stall - that's possible there again from July 15th.
A special highlight of the Rheinkirmes 2022 in Düsseldorf is again the big fireworks, reports 24RHEIN.

Fair visitors can experience a special spectacle of colors in the sky on Friday, July 22nd.
On this day, around 11:00 p.m., a large fireworks display will be set off.
According to the organizer, hundreds of thousands of spectators are expected.
As early as 8 a.m., "15 pyrotechnicians arrive to set up the massive fair fireworks," the organizer said.

The fireworks will then take place between the two southern Düsseldorf bridges, the Oberkasseler Bridge and the Rheinknie Bridge.
Incidentally, the grandstand for the fireworks display is the new flagship of the White Fleet, the "MS RheinGalaxie".
For this occasion, the entrepreneur Josef Klüh of the globally active Düsseldorf family company "Klüh Multiservices" invites employees and guests of honor from all over the world to the boat to enjoy dinner, live music, DJ and dancing on the main deck, while the sky is ablaze with colour shines.
"The ship leaves the Steiger Theodor-Heuss-Bridge at 8 p.m. on Friday.
Boarding is at 7 p.m.,” says the fair organizer.

"Ghost Shells"
: The firework motif is said to have "extremely colorful effects", the organizer explains.
"The colors really jump back and forth," says chief pyrotechnician Martin Schmitz.
"Elongated willows"
: Fireworks in the colors white, green and red, which are supposed to stay in the air for a long time and "blink".
Palm Trees
: Silver and gold fireworks in the shape of the desert plant.

The fireworks of the Rheinkirmes Düsseldorf 2022 will be set up all day long from the morning of July 22nd.
There should be a lot of innovation and a "huge bandwidth" with calibers up to 200 mm, "which this location allows us to be one of the few," quotes the organizer, chief pyrotechnician Martin Schmitz.
Fireworks at the Rheinkirmes Düsseldorf: where do you have the best view?
Since the fireworks at the Rheinkirmes are ignited directly between the Oberkasseler Bridge and the Rheinknie Bridge, you have a very good view of the spectacle from both bridges.
There is also an impressive view of the colorful spectacle from the opposite bank of the Rhine near the old town.
Another option is offered by various boat trips, which are offered every year especially for the fireworks at the Rheinkirmes.
Several party boats, also with a DJ, drinks and food, travel across the Rhine in time for the fireworks.
