Dozens of Palestinians were injured today as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed an anti-settlement demonstration in the town of Al-Zahiriya, south of Hebron in the West Bank.
Palestinian media reported that the occupation forces fired a barrage of bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration that took place in the Shweika area of the town, in refusal to seize lands and establish new settlements there, which led to the injury of a Palestinian with bullets and dozens of suffocation cases and the arrest of others.
A number of Palestinians were injured yesterday as a result of the occupation forces' suppression of two demonstrations condemning the settlements in the village of Kafr Qaddoum near the city of Qalqilya and another in the village of Al-Tawana, southeast of Yatta in Hebron in the West Bank.
