Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi affirmed that foreign interference destabilizes security and stability in the region, pointing out that the solution to its issues is in the hands of its peoples and governments.
Raisi said during a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron today, "Had it not been for Iran's role in fighting terrorism and supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries in the region, the terrorist organization (ISIS) would have announced the establishment of its state in Europe today," reiterating his country's position rejecting the option of conflicts and wars to resolve differences. between different countries.
Raisi stressed that reaching an agreement on reviving the nuclear agreement depends on providing the necessary guarantees, including the continued commitment of the parties to the agreement and ensuring the economic interests of the Iranian people. Iran also led to a breach of trust.
Raisi explained that US sanctions on Iran are harming the global economy, especially Europe, and said that Iran is ready to help end the war in Ukraine and resolve the crisis through political dialogue.
For his part, the French president stressed the importance of Iran's role in the success of political solutions to crises in the region, and said that "France supports Iran's position against launching military operations by regional countries against Syria."
Macron also announced France's readiness to continue efforts to achieve results in the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the countries of the 4+1 group.
