Chaotic scenes after the "Böhse Onkelz" concert on Friday in Frankfurt.
Two people were hit by a train and fatally injured.
Frankfurt - After the "Böhse Onkelz" concert on Friday evening (July 22) in Frankfurt, according to Maxie Imgenberg, spokeswoman for the federal police in Saarbrücken, there were chaotic scenes when the visitors left the "Deutsche Bank Park" area.
The exact cause is currently still unclear.
"Normally, the stadium or the infrastructure is designed for significantly more visitors," says Imgenberg.
Even before the fatal accident, there were several partial closures of the train route, as the federal police had to get people off the tracks several times, reports fnp.de.
At around 11:40 p.m., two people - a 25-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man - were hit by a regional express train near the football stadium, between the stadium pool and a gas station, and were fatally injured.
It was a special train to Marburg.
The train driver had unsuccessfully initiated an emergency stop.

Federal police officers secured the scene of the accident.
Witnesses had to be cared for on site by emergency pastoral care.
About 300 passengers who were on the train were able to leave it later.
The federal and state police were on site with a large contingent – a helicopter was also in action.
It is still unclear how the chaotic scenes came about and why so many visitors walked the tracks.
The Frankfurt Criminal Police Department has started investigating the fatal accident.
The accident resulted in extensive road closures and restrictions on rail and road traffic.

A large number of people were stranded around the Waldstadion after the incident.
Hundreds of people stood on Flughafenstrasse/Otto-Fleck-Schneise.
Many concert visitors are said to have been heavily intoxicated.
According to 5vision.media, there were various communication problems between the visitors and the organizer as well as the police.
In addition, the cell phone network was apparently completely overloaded.
