The director of Quneitra Agriculture, Ahmed Deeb, explained in a statement to SANA that about 270 farmers received grants from pregnant sheep and sheep heads, in addition to about 700 kilos of fodder for barley cultivation, in the villages of Jabba, Umm Batna, Mashara, Taranga, Ovania, Hamidiyah, Kom and Kom Muhairis.
The Directorate of Agriculture also distributed, according to Theeb, a grant of cow fodder to 140 beneficiaries in the Sweiss area, and 1000 free olive plantations at a rate of 30 seedlings for each beneficiary, in addition to distributing fish grants and irrigation networks.
The Director of Agriculture stressed the importance of these grants, both animal and vegetable, in improving the living conditions of beneficiary families and supporting livestock.
