A morning of chaos on the roads: heavy loads on the coastal road and Ayalon South Israel today

A morning of heavy congestion on the roads:

 following the cessation of train activity on the coastal line, many passengers are looking for alternative routes and therefore many roads are congested and traffic is heavy. 

According to the data of the Waze application, there is a very heavy load on road 2 south from Givat Shapira to the universe, an average speed of about 24 km/h and an estimated travel time for the section about 27 minutes.

Very heavy traffic was also reported on Route 4 South from Hadera to Mishmar Hasharon, an average speed of about 11 km/h and an estimated travel time for the section of about 42 minutes. Also in the section between Beit Hanania to Hadera, an average speed of about 22 km/h and travel time Estimated for the segment about 22 minutes.

A very heavy load was reported on the Ayalon South road from Kfar Shmariahu to Tel Aviv and the Ramat Hasharon area, an average speed of about 16 km/h and an estimated travel time for the section of about 44 minutes.

Last week, Israel Railways published an announcement about temporary and significant changes in train traffic on the coastal line (Haifa - Binyamina - Hadera - Tel Aviv). The changes will last until Saturday night - 7/30, which creates a lot of chaos on the roads, as many soldiers and workers travel by train.

The train lines operate in a split manner between long destinations such as Nahariya-Be'er Sheva, Nahariya-Mudi'in, Karmiel-Be'er Sheva and Nimina-Be'er Sheva.

The police announced that Route 6 heading north from the Sorek Interchange to the Nesher Interchange will also be closed today, due to infrastructure work.

The work will continue until Tuesday.
