An 11-year-old boy drowned today (Sunday) at Charles Clair beach in Tel Aviv and was pulled from the water when he is in a serious condition and is unconscious.
He was taken to the Ichilov Hospital in the city, where he is admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit while being sedated and ventilated.
In the afternoon, the MDA team was called to the beach in Tel Aviv. The MDA paramedic, Miriam Kuznitz, said that when they arrived at the scene, "we were led to the boy who was lying unconscious, lifeguards performed CPR on him after he was pulled out of the water."
The MDA medics and paramedics continued performing advanced resuscitation operations "which included massages and breathing, we put him in an intensive care vehicle and evacuated him to the hospital while continuing to perform resuscitation operations when his condition is critical."
