16. Seh-am-See: 28 artists, nine from the Kunstkreis, presented a “fullness of ideas with different techniques” at the Karlsfelder See.

From photographs to sculptures and objects to land art, some art forms were represented.

Many of the artists included the lake or nature on the shore.

Klaus Herbrich built his "Tree Ark" out of 108 plastic buckets for a free-standing tree, Devaney Claro de Souza stretched a hammock between two trees in his installation "The Presence of Time", Sabine Kinder installed filigree spider webs made of wire and paper in a treetop and Gerda Riedel decorated the bridge with two of her colourful, graphic paintings as if they belonged there.

Colorful stones seem to be crawling out of Karlsfeld Lake

The colorful stones by Anja Grafe-Friedrich seemed to crawl out of the lake, Liz Schinzler apparently had a man “jump into the deep end” so that only trousers and rubber boots could be seen, and Michi Braun placed old mannequins on old chairs and a bike in the water.

Hans Guldner's “Data Krake” made of plastic bottles and CDs and Carin Szostecki's “Water Music” also moved with the small waves.

Had a little trouble with the wind: artist Gudrun Prölss-Feldmann from Munich with her “Carnation Rings” made from old umbrellas.

Some of the artists invited to participate: Klaus Kühnlein asked the visitors to send positive messages to the "Island of Hope" by writing sayings on white linen strips and hanging them on the work.

Tayama da Silva Nielsen invited visitors into her greenhouses to browse through plant mandalas, and Gerard Cornioley's installation entitled "Longing for Autumn" allowed guests to sit amidst a sea of leaves.

The Karlsfelder Manfred Schmölz is actually known for his watercolors.

For the Seh am See he built the installation "4x3" from materials he found at home.

Paper artist Ernst Lüttringhaus showed anyone who wanted to how to fold his huge paper objects in small format, and Angelika Hafer's group of people "Butterfly Watching" wandered around a tree with tissue paper butterflies.

“We sent out the invitations at the end of last year and we received a huge, spontaneous response.

With the tailwind from the town hall, we had no choice but to hold the lakeside show," says Chairman Kühne happily.
