The guests of the two baroque picnics had a good time again and enjoyed the provisions they had brought with them in the ambience of the Dachau Palace.
Dachau - On Friday, the band Passo Avanti played baroque sounds for the diverse audience and on Saturday the band Garou, which attracted a younger audience in particular with their own pop song covers.
While perfect weather was announced on Friday, so that the stewards had to scare away the visitors after the event, the visitors were not so lucky on Friday.
Somewhat damp meadows and a few drops of rain in between could not spoil this appointment either.
Some visitors come in baroque robes
Some picnic friends took the motto very seriously again and came in baroque garb and dined on tables with old candlesticks.
Others preferred the classic tealights or even LED light chains at a later hour, which together conjured up a romantic atmosphere in the courtyard.
Children romped between the snacks in the trees of the arcade, danced in front of the stage or played with flashlights in the back part of the garden.
Pure summer relaxation: the guests enjoyed their picnic to music and in a wonderful ambience.

"Both evenings were sold out in advance with 1,000 guests each," said Tobias Schneider, head of the cultural department.
The restriction to 1000 guests made the picnic “more relaxed again”.
Due to Corona, the city offered two dates last year, which was so well received that "this will now be retained," says Schneider.
Advance ticket sales have also proven their worth, especially at the entrance.
