Emotional poems and social stories by poets and writers on the pulpit of the Cultural Center in Homs

The literary evening hosted by the Cultural Center in Homs for a group of poets and storytellers today was characterized by a trend of poetic and narrative modernity, which was dominated by the emotional and social aspects studded with symbolism and interesting sensory images.

The evening was started by the doctor and storyteller Gerges Hourani with a social story entitled (My Dear Guest), which tells the story of a family that prepared with some unwillingness to receive an unwanted guest, only to be surprised that the guest that the father brought is a cage containing two birds (a lover and a lover), and it is a gift to the mother on her birthday, who Everyone forgot it, and the point is that what we fear might be the source of our happiness in life.

With a bouquet of thoughts and short stories, the media and storyteller Hanadi Abu Hanoud participated in the titles of her texts (Qumran), (When I Leave) and (On the Bus), in which we feel a delicate feminine style filled with feelings that express reality with all its agonies.

With flirtatious poems full of bold poetic images, the poet Abeer Deeb participated in her two poems (Female Obsessions) and (Poet), expressing with a delicate feminine soul the Najwa of two lost lovers in Tim El-Hayam's bliss and misery.

The participation of the poet Ghassan Lafi Tohmeh came with two symbolic poems, the first entitled (Apology to a Boy They Killed) and the second (The Connection of the Nation), in which we seek the aesthetic tendency in narration and expression in their expressive poetic colors.

The evening was concluded by the head of the Writers Union branch in Homs, the poet Omaima Ibrahim, with a lengthy narrative text entitled (Scheherazade’s Hallucinations in the Time of Ashes), in which she expresses feminine feelings that were affected and influenced by the other, so she revealed everything that stirs inside her in an influential descriptive manner that reflects a broad linguistic culture.
