Members of the Forestry Department in the Latakia Agriculture Directorate put out today a fire caused by rocket-propelled grenades fired by terrorist organizations that fell in the Taurus Rabia area in the northern countryside of Latakia.
The head of the forestry department in the directorate, Engineer Jaber Sukour, told SANA reporter that a fire broke out in the Taurus Rabia area, with an area of 300 square meters, as a result of the terrorist organizations' attacks with rocket-propelled grenades, as firefighting teams worked to put out the fire.
The firefighting teams also extinguished three fires, the largest of which was in the farms of the village of Al-Matrikiya in the Qardaha countryside, and it spanned an area of 7 dunums of olive and lemon trees, and a fire in the village of Al-Shir in the Al-Haffah area spanned an area of 4 dunums of olive trees, and a fire with a small area of weeds in Al-Bassa.
