Prime Minister Yair Lapid today (Sunday) convened a discussion under his chairmanship on the activities of the Jewish Agency in Russia.
"Closing the agency's offices in Russia will be a serious event that will affect relations," said Lapid.
"Relations with Russia are important to Israel and the Jewish community in Russia is large, important and rising in every political dialogue with the government in Moscow."
The Minister of Immigration and Absorption, the Minister of Construction and Housing, and the Minister of Finance participated in the discussion.
