At 3:46 p.m. today (24th), the police received a report of a man in his 60s who was suspected of drowning while swimming at the First Beach in Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung. After first aid, he was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment.

The man involved is a 69-year-old surnamed Ma.
According to the news at the scene, he and two friends were swimming at the first beach of Clear Water Bay, during which he was suspected of drowning in the sea about 10 meters offshore.
Three lifeguards at the beach performed CPR on the spot and used an automated external defibrillator before taking him to hospital.
The victim is reported to have diabetes, and the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
In addition, at 4:06 pm, the police also received a report that someone was suspected of drowning while swimming in a swimming pool on the Gold Coast of Tuen Mun.
However, after the police arrived at the scene, they did not find it, which was believed to be a false alarm, and finally closed the team and left the scene.
