Rescue operation at the duck race: man crashes in Zeiselbach and injures himself

An accident occurred on Sunday (July 24) during the duck race at Zeiselbach in Bad Wiessee.

A man fell into the creek bed - and had to be rescued with the help of the fire department.

Bad Wiessee

- There was a rescue operation on Sunday (July 24) at around 1.40 p.m. at the duck race of the Rotary Club Tegernsee at Wiesseer Zeiselbach.

A man slipped during the event and fell into the stream bed at about the level of the Herder Optik shop.

The water is currently very shallow at this point, so the casualty hit hard.

As reported by the commander from Wiessee, Korbinian Herzinger, two young members of the water rescue service provided first aid until the rescue service arrived.

After the man had been stabilized on a stretcher by the BRK helpers, he was lifted out of the stream with the help of the fire brigade and continued to be cared for.

Nothing is known about the severity of the injuries.
